SNAP-8 (Acetyl Glutamyl Heptapeptide-3) is an elongated synthetic octapeptide modeled after the N-terminal end of the neuromuscular protein SNAP-25. It is evaluated in cosmetic chemistry setups for its potential to destabilize the SNARE complex in vitro and limit neurotransmitter vesicle release kinetics.
