Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide sequence (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) identical to an endogenous extract isolated from the pineal gland. In cell senescence models, it is evaluated for its direct impact on telomerase enzyme activity expression, telomere elongation rates, and the regulation of chromatin architecture.
